Punishments for a Job not well done

Okay, everyone thinks I should 'punish' him for not doing a very good job while I was away. What do you have in mind? He is working hard outside these days in some heat but was lax while I was away (see last post).

I think leaving him in the cage without attention is a good punishment. The question on that is for how long to do that? So far, people think another two weeks minimum. I am looking for your ideas.
